Growing up, Julianna has always been fascinated by birth, babies, and human development. Through her time as a child care worker, nanny, and dance teacher for young children, teens, and adults, she began learning the ways these complex passions enriched her life.
During her pursuit of an Anthropology and Education degree, she received her Yoga Teacher certification and has focused her teaching with women and expecting mothers. She is trained as a full spectrum birth and postpartum doula, prioritizing genuine connection and education informed care. She is deeply connected to her Jewish ancestral roots and incorporates traditional forms of healing in her offerings. She is deeply grateful to all of those who came before her who have offered their support to get her to where she is today.
Julianna is always striving to better her practice and offerings through constant education. She recognizes each birthing person and birth is unique and it is her priority to bring the same calming, encouraging, and positive energy to each woman, partner, baby, and family.

"We were very happy with Jules' support for the birth of our first child. We really appreciated her prenatal sessions - she de-mystified the birth experience, and I was very impressed at how she guided us through developing our birth preferences in a totally non-judgmental and supportive way, answering our questions with evidence-based info and positivity for what our vision for birth would be. We had some late-diagnosed health issues for mom, and had to quickly change our expectations for what the birth would look like. Jules' coaching both ahead of time and while we were at the hospital helped us to feel confident speaking up for what we wanted, even when we were pressured by doctors to make rush decisions. I am certain that we had a more relaxed, happy birth due to her support. And while it may seem like a small thing, she spent most of our final prenatal session (which happened during all the stressful decisions we had to make) guiding us through some meditation and yoga. This was EXACTLY what we needed to get our minds right - we had if anything too much info at that point, and needed the reminder and help recentering ourselves and staying calm and confident. As my husband said - "Hiring Jules was worth it just for that session alone." Highly recommend her!
