Amanda's journey started when she finished her studies in early childhood education in Brazil and worked with children of all ages including children with emotional and behavioral disorders. One day the opportunity arose to help her friend during her postpartum period and she felt so helpful and happy to give her the love and support she needed. After that Amanda immersed herself in the world of motherhood. She felt so passionate about this line of work and became a postpartum doula.
Amanda had the amazing experience when she brought her own sunshine boy into the world. Being a mother is so unique and wonderful but also presents its challenges.
Today, she feels accomplished to do her job as a postpartum doula! Knowing firsthand the importance of having a Doula to help, she strives to support moms and their family unit in their pre-birth, delivery, and through the difficulties encountered during the postpartum journey.
"Amanda accompanied me through the end of my pregnancy and this first few months with my baby. She was wonderful! Calm, kind, with a lot of experience. She gave me tips that I take to my life. She help with baby care, the first nights of sleep, breastfeeding, everything! I don't have any family around and she treated us with the same affection as our family."
