Claudia is a Licensed Nurse, she spent 5 years working in reproductive health. She loves to help families navigate their fertility journey by educating and empowering them along the way. She also worked in Oncology specializing in Breast Cancer. She feels that her experiences as a nurse, working primarily in reproductive health, has given her tools that she uses to support families as a doula. One of her favorite ways to support families is to give them evidence based information so they can make informed decisions. She is very comfortable in all birth settings and works very well to help communicate your needs with hospital staff if needed.
As a doula, Claudia is always looking to grow and learn. She is currently studying to become an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant)
She is a San Francisco Native and is raising her 2 boys in the city that she adores. She gave birth to one of her boys at CPMC and the other at UCSF and really enjoys attending births at those hospitals now as a doula!
In her free time, she enjoys good music, to cook and read. She is Bilingual speaking Spanish and English fluently.
